So I'm new here... and stepping out of the box to maybe find some help or atleast people that can relate ..
About me, I'm 35, retired USMC. I spent alot of time "over there". I was with a MEU and went alot of places almost always combat related. If anyone knows what an MEU is may understand the work. I did it along time.. and never had an issue with it. But those days are rekindling themselves in my mind and I'm finding it difficult to live a normal life.. There is no Line that I cross anymore from life to combat. . I find my war is far from over.
What do I hope to find here? I don't really know. Maybe just leave something behind..

Welcome @Hardtke , I am not military, but many here are... you will find hope here. You will find people who relate and understand your feelings, even tho the situations are different.... we do know fear, anxiety, nightmares, depression...
Very glad you found us, but very sorry for the reasons you had to find us... you are not alone.

Hope we see you around... look around the site and many threads may resonate with you.... the great thing, we do not give 'trigger warnings', we each are accountable for what we read and do here.... hope you find some peace here... I know I do.
