The Under 25s Club!

When I found this forum I was intimidated. Everyone seemed... old! (no offence intended!) I was struck by the feeling that, yes most people here would be able to relate, but as a young person living in todays world, I wanted to find people my own age to talk to!

So, here it is. A thread for people under 25, from where ever, to talk about what ever, and just to... I donno, make friends, relate to others, and chat!

Haha, I like this thread. I get on with everyone here and everyone is incredible, but it's nice to have a space for us younger ones. :p

Big struggle at the moment is applying to uni. How did any of you get on with that if that was the path you chose? :D

I applied to a few in the UK and the US... um... I chose ones that looked nice? lol no seriously first I looked at the courses they had to offer, where they stood in the league tables, and then the student satisfaction. I looked at the student union ratings for the UK, affordability, and the weather :P

Yeah I have done the same thing pretty much for choosing my unis. I'm at the offers stage now and it's getting stressful. :p

I just took a gap year from uni, I miss it lol. I looked at the course length and contents for the different uni's. For the same qualification some courses were 3years and some 4years depending on the uni.

My partner, when choosing, just dropped pins onto a map, picked the nearest uni and applied :P Where did you apply Ice? (sorry if that kind of question isnt allowed. I am new and still learning!)

Yeah that question is fine. I've applied to Cambridge, Edinburgh, Sheffield and York. I have offers from the last two and an interview at Cambridge on Monday. :eek:
