I have been seeing this therapist for nearly six years and he has told me he has arranged to retire early so will not be able to see me from next summer. He knows that this is premature for me/ It has really changed the dynamic as I now don't feel he is truly there for me as he knows the damage it will cause me when he walks away. I also haven't found anyone to take over. I feel abandoned and a lot of my issues are about abandonment.
