Someone mentioned that to me at work the other day. I had the exact same thought.

I hope they get that problem fixed soon. That would've scared the shit out of me to get a emergency broadcast like that.

I hope no one did anything extreme before the all clear was sounded. I could easily see something like what happened when Orson Welles did that radio presentation of War of the Worlds.
Scared the hell out of half the country. Apparently there were a few people who committed suicide, preferring that over being cut down by the Martians ray guns.

I think the scary thing for me was the fact that immediately Trump was notified and he was taken off the GOLF COURSE and brought back to his office at his summer WH. IF they hadn’t found out so quickly that this was an accident, what the hell would have happened had Trump ordered a strike on NK?????? We all know how much he “loves” NK!!!!! There has been talk in the manned submersible community about the alert being real, but the USN being successful in shooting the ICBM down. "THE" ICBM. Which means "one". Which also tells me th it would be an accidental launch of a warhead of unknown magnitude.

As for Trump, he's is not going to listen to what the Civil Defense substrates say.
