For Christmas we are going to have submarine sandwiches with the works. So easy and so yummy. Besides I will be surrounded by people I love and who love me.

Thank you for this post! Here is what I look forward to: My sister has invited me for Christmas diner which she says she wants to make all by herself this time. This will be the first time I won't have to participate, and so I don't have to be afraid of the almost inevitable anxiety attack related to the stress or the ptsd triggering that might make me fail in my duties. I am thankful for this opportunity to enjoy a nice and special evening with my family, do what I can spontaneously and show and share the good and maybe even happy sides of myself.

Day 22: The second thing I look forward to. Buyng my wife's christmas present. I always like to get her something nice. I am thinking of a nice outfit for her.

Day 23: I look forward to seeing my daughter's face light up when we put the decorations up
Day 22: I look forward to.......this is hard!!!! Okay, I look forward to not having to cook a Christmas dinner. Since I met my husband 2 years ago, he took over in the kitchen (well for the past year because it took me so long to give up that little bit of control). :)

Day 21: I am looking forward to cooking Christmas dinner for my family; hopefully standing rib roast. Yes, it's expensive, but it is my christmas present to the family.

Day 21: I am looking forward to having time off. As an instructor, I get the same time off as the students and I get paid the same salary as if I'm working. Two weeks off (Dec 21rst-Jan 2nd) and then another week in between quarters (Jan 11th-19th).
