Day 18: I am looking forward to listening to my Tran-siberian orchestra's christmas cds.

Somehow I must have messed up the count(I never was good at math); today is the 14th, that would make it 11 days until christmas, so we just gained a week.

Day 11: I am looking forward to my wife's Christmas work-party. We are going to a nice restuarant, and there will be one horse open-sleigh rides.

Day 11: I am looking forward to a phone free work day. I only have a handful of doctors that are open on Christmas and only 3 students are assigned to work. How much trouble can 3 students get into?

11 days before Christmas and I am wishing it was Christmas morning. I'm all ready for it. Well I need to wrap santa's presents. I think I'll do that in the week before Christmas, instead of hurriedly the night before. Feeling Christmassy.

I am working at keeping positive, too. I just finished my Christmas shopping - I so enjoy finding just the right thing for my loved ones, so having these gifts to wrap makes me happy. I am also coordinating the purchase of $5 gift cards from a chain of coffee shops in our city. We have made this part of our family celebration and I have raised enough to give out 40 of these cards to the homeless next week. This will give 40 homeless folks a legitimate opportunity to get out of the cold and get something warm. I will be sending them for a group of volunteers to hand out from a van that provides outreach each night.
