Tired Of Feeling Depressed

I'd like the depression to dissipate. I know I need to work on it. Only so many meds you can take. I truly don't think adjusting my meds would make it any better. I think this is just something I need to work on to get the rest of the way to some sort of sanity.

I think it's the time of the year also. This is a bad time for a lot of people.

This is terrible. I hate how I feel. I'm so tired of feeling like this. It feels like I'm never going to feel any different. Someone please, tell me it gets better than this. I feel defeated.

It's a vicious circle we live in. And I can tell you it helps me to know I'm not alone in this.. I feel so lost and alone most of the time and just want to curl up and never move. I can't sleep because of nightmares and I can't eat. I don't know how to change it.

I feel like this is it this is my life and I can't do anything about it.

It does. I've suffered from depression throughout my life. I think it comes in waves for me. On my good day(s) I try to hang on to that feeling. Like today isn't a bad day. I'm not doing cartwheels, but I am fairly content. I know this feeling doesn't last. When I am depressed, sometimes it gets worse, sometimes I get a reprieve, but I try to remind myself it will subside.

The hardest part is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when you are in the darkness. I hope you find your way through this sooner then later. My thoughts are with you as I know how defeating it can all feel.

Thank you Britt. I've dealt with depression too but, this time it's really got me. Now that I'm in therapy and facing my past.. it's really hard. And the past couple of weeks have been emotionally exhausting.

I hate feeling depressed. it sucks the life out of me. I had a good day today, started out shaky but turned out good. I love the reprieves. I love feeling good. It makes such a huge difference for me.

Does anyone feel guilty when they are feeling good? I do. I want to stop that guilty feeling.
