Too much sensory input

My symptoms have been super duper high lately. I’ve managed some huge triggers around trauma latel...
Essential oils. Even just inhaling the oils does help to bring you back to a sense of some calm.
Now experiencing terrible triggers again, this is helping - the aroma does take your mind away from the fear/panic - helplessness/pain.
Also being with animals is great therapy, they are alert to how you are feeling because everything with them is attuned on a sensory level.
Keep your circle small & tight - stay with the people that allow you the time/space - that let you show your vulnerabilities in a healthy way (by talking/sharing/listening/acknowledging) so that you can accept the triggers & work through them - this is the only way to good healing & building tools for stress mgmt.
Remember: you are strong & brave & still here. ❤️ Sending love & light.
