@Solara : You are right. I think jumping into a relationship for the sake of shutting people off from questioning me about my marital status is kinda stupid. I shouldn't have taken her comment that seriously at the party causing me emotional distress and ending up on a stupid dating site despite knowing my sexual abuse issues. Sometimes I feel that It will take forever for me to heal from the sexual abuse abuse. I am somewhat becoming successful in resolving my other childhood abuse issues but it seems almost impossible to resolve the sexual abuse issues :(. I feel that it has left a deep wound which will probably take a life time to heal or may never heal and I'm sure there is no guy out there waiting for me when he could get his need met by so many other women out there :(.

I also feel like the original poster, @Jass_T. I always think that if a person wants to wait to commit to marriage, then why can't they understand I want to wait to commit to sex. There are life long diseased and the chance of having a child which needs to be taken into account just like everything having to do with marriage.

I am confused. I wonder if my expectations are too high when I expect a man to show that he is trustworthy. At the same time I think maybe I am too old-fashioned and need to figure out a "looser" way of dating. Thus, I am alone.
