UK Support Groups?

Does anyone know of any support groups in UK where people can meet ?

I'm thinking the same... whilst not well enough to set one up myself, when I am well (and eventually finished uni), if nothing is set up... I will make it my business to begin one...

They are a trauma support org. and can point you hopefully in the right direction.

There are 3 ex service personnel places under the name of combat stress if anyone is interested.....

I have never heard of a support group for PTSD in the UK... would be fantastic if there were some though

Sorry guys i failed on this one.

All i could find were user led anxiety drop in centres, which are listed In the MIND or Mental Health web pages and then look for the links.

It's a bit of a maze though.

Hey Cat,

Im not sure how to PM you or if I can yet, but Im definitely interested. Also interested in starting the support group in the south west...Ive found absolutely nothing so far and I could really use the socialisation and company of those in similar situations. Maybe if we can both make it to this meeting on 18th we could ask around if anyones interested in the group?
