I agree with others, that you need a more definative answer, and a better way of staying safe.
I know that I have had to learn to manage a particular symptom or (behavior, thought , feeling) and while it may be concerning, often am glad to learn to manage it but nothing seems to improve, so I hold on to the status quo. Then other things in life happen and symptom may worsen, then I am adapting again, increasing my tolerance for the intolerable. That can become dangerous and I have almost lost my life doing this.
I also understand what it is like explaining what happens and professionals being puzzled. I feel frustrated, like a total anomaly, and eventually just avoid the topic even with those I trust. (I dont trust them to take their own time to discover what they dont already know about the issue ) Where I live, I dont think professionals even treat ptsd. Most do not know much or see it interfering with life.
For your own safety, I hope you explore this while things are not at the worst. It is much more difficult to unravel if other stressors are added to your life and things become worse. I appreciate the saying, "dont fix whats not broke" but, managing such things alone is not good.
