I made it through the procedure. They used sedation, but the sedation barely had an effect, but everything went well nonetheless. I think that it was one/some of my parts helping/interfering with the sedation, but as long as it's over with no major incidents, I am good. The worst part was probably when the prep. nurse asked my husband to leave because she was going to put the IV in. Really she wanted to know about the PTSD and if it had anything to with my husband. It is good that they check, but I hate it at the same time because my husband is my strongest supporter. I also hated her seeing the scars on my arms. However, the nurse was super nice and she is the only person I have ever had that actually tried to put in an IV without using the regular adhesive. I am allergic to all adhesives and they usually just tell me there is no other option. She still had to use tape, but she used as little as possible, which was very much appreciated by me. I am probably rambling now because I am so exhausted. Thanks for sharing your thoughts everyone.
