Please move if I've put this in the wrong place...

So, lots has happened since I last posted.

Currently feeling very lost, overwhelmed, empty & low :(

Saw T on Mon, but it was totally pointless. I was an empty shell. I had nothing to give and really struggled to talk and communicate. I did however voice that I'm worried I'm too much and she can't help me. I've lost hope.

I got in to find letter from GP - I'm no longer seeing psych, instead he's spoken to him on my behalf = :'(

He's increasing my quetiapine, despite the letter that T wrote asking for psych referral said that I won't tolerate it as too sedating. I feel totally unlistened to :(

I spoke to a friend as really worried at the mo about my level of dissociation, but everyone's fobbing me off. She recommended Pottergate (UK dissociation centre)

I have contacted them & completed the DES & SDQ20 questionnaires. I'm currently waiting to hear back from them with a report. Hopefully then people will start taking me seriousl...

I have PTSD, I can't remember things in a stressful situation. So you must have a good conscience if you are here.

So are the meds to block out your a good person at heart? I've had PTSD for more than 40 years kind of pisses me off see'n a good person down

@Maggiemay A centre specialising in dissociation sounds like a great place to turn to. Judging from what you've said previously, they'll hopefully find what's going on and *fingers crossed* advocate for you. Hang in there!

Thanks Mecca :)

My friend that recommended it to me is a mental health advocate, so I'm helping she'll help too. I just want to know for sure what's going on. I need to get better, rather than allowing this to continue and be ignored. This is more than just a transient symptom, it's constant :(

So, heard back from Pottergate. The letter was quite technical, but basically, I scored very highly on both questionnaires (the SDQ20 especially). This means there's a high chance I have a dissociative disorder... Not quite sure how to raise this with T. I think she's not going to be happy after telling me not to look at anymore questionnaires, but I need definitive answers right now...

@Maggiemay You have the right to seek answers about what's happening with your own self! Do you know why your T might not be happy about that? If not, maybe ask her. The information you have gotten back sounds like it could be very useful. Does Pottergate have any suggestions for you?
