General We Have Found A New Ptsd Centre In Southend In Essex.

In case this can help anyone on here...

We have found a new PTSD centre in Southend in Essex. She says she has people travelling for hours to have the sessions with them. They have lottery funding so the sessions are free. Hubby has just started with them....They seem helpful and have spent a lot of time on PTSD before even opening....

Wow! Well done on finding that. Sadly it is too far away for me, but it sounds like a great resource.

Are they specific about the causes of PTSD or is available to all ( as opposed to just for war veterans etc...)?

Sorry for the delay Lucycat - My hubby has PTSD and is not war related so I think they can take other people on.

Hubby is going once a week for an hour - I dont think thats enough.

If anyone goes there I would love to know. I have had to call them a few times and they rather sadly just never call me back. I feel like a stalker now and just need 10 mins of their time..... :O( They all seem really lovely people and very supportive... Just don't call me back :O(
