Thanks for the reply. What does it feel like to be on it? Any regular or transient symptoms? What's been your experience?

Fine, it has pepped me up, did start off on lower dose of 150 mg and felt very irritable, but raised to 300 and fine. But raised to 375 and got really bad tight headaches and jittery and irritable again. Came back down. Don't take it anywhere near bed time it peps you up. It gives me more energy, I can do more things, don't have so much traffic in my head, easier to think. Feel less anxious I think, and stops me going to extreme end of depressed.

oh reduced my appetite, don't feel as hungry. Makes food taste more enhanced (it is an antismoking drug, makes smoking taste revolting)

But my psychiatrist said it is good for ADHD types or people with ADHD in family, as it works better on our type of brain chemistry.

Cough, so I'm probably more exception to meds effects than I thought. Shrug.

(ADHD&, here.) I was the opposite of Queen Boudica, except for the food/smoking taste. Far more depressed, unable to think, thinking felt glued together and nonsensical and looping on itself, I was super jittery and unable to tell current time, and didn't remember the basics on it, including basics that are supposed to be reflexive.

Reactions: cdg
Are you ADHD @Cashew? What dose were you on? When I started on the lower dose, 150 mg I did feel jittery and teary and reactive. But I needed 300 mg. My psychiatrist says there is a threshold dose around 300-375 for women. But that reaction sounds like much more severe than my 150 mg one. What did you end up on instead?

@Queen Boudica, yep, ADHD.

I was on plenty low doses, 30 mgs per pill for a while & changing to 15, still messing me up. And it's about the latest thing my docs kicked to the curb because they're bit hopeless as what to prescribe lol. Additional brain damage & several untreated hormonal issues may be a role, here. (Just adding for completion it's not just ADHD with me).
