pine trees, especially what they call jack pine, grizzled old veterans found clinging to life in the damnedest places. Usually in high altitude where they might be able to catch a break in the heat of summer but little else.

Okay, so a company I used to work for meant I was on Amtrak waaaaay more than I wanted to be (and I love trains). Come. To. FIND??? You can lease your own CAR for less than a month of sleeper car tickets. So the company covered it. I never tricked it out, all steampunk gilded age meets techno now. LeSigh. I wanted to. I didn’t have it as long as I expected to. And I’m always slow about moving in, anywhere.
