Grateful for a little glimmer of hope that the GLP-1 medications might be covered under my insurance plan in 2026! The meds I'm on are causing terrible insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome, and inching me toward full-blown diabetes, so I'm grateful for any bit of hopeful news on this front. Grateful for the work of the federal government in this instance.

My hands. They protect me. It’s weird saying that, as if they are somehow outside of me, but that’s where I’m at today. Trying to put back the body parts into one coherent whole.
