I am grateful that I am able to try to stay in touch with my oldest grandson through texts. Maybe he is not allowed to talk to me but I can keep him updated on the fact that I still love him and miss him and how I am while missing him like crazy.

Being able to comfortably walk barefoot on the green grass in 60+ degree weather at the end of November. That's the best attitude adjustment I've found all day.

For pretty comfortable clothes and colorful bandanas. To be able to get away from the four walls closing in on me and getting an uplift in spirit and an attitude adjustment and some self care that is healing. I am grateful it is all working together today.:happy:

I'm grateful that my darling little dog made it through her surgery for speying and removal of an age lump on her tummy. She is now home and resting peacefully. I'm also grateful that I won over 30 quid on the horses today. I'm further grateful that I had a lovely fry up for breakfast today and a nice roast chicken dinner tonight. I'm even more grateful that I have a roof over my head and good friends for company. Finally I'm really truly grateful I'm even alive. November was a crap month, full of fear depression and sadness. I'm grateful it's nearly over and for the first time in many many years I'm actually looking forward to Christmas. It's been a long time coming. Progress has been made this year and I'm looking forward to 2018. And obviously I'm grateful for you guys here too. I've learned so much from you. Happy Holidays!! God bless you all xx

Grateful for this site and the support and friendship I've found here.

Grateful I found some white clothes in the Lifeline shop for a street performance I'll be in tomorrow and Friday night (we will be a singing, walking living screen for film projection).

Grateful for the movie I'm about to go see while I wait for my therapist appointment (its the one about Christopher Robin and A.A.Milne, I grew up on Pooh Bear so my inner child/children is looking forward to it. A friend gave me a movie voucher almost a year ago, so I didn't have to pay, grateful for that too .

Grateful I got to text with my big daughter today, put birthday money in account for estranged son (I think we are moving past estrangement, HUGE relief, it's been 7 years, grateful for that too.)
Grateful I could ring my youngest son, who is home alone ,I just bought him a phone for his 12th birthday, grateful I could do that too.

And grateful my "special" son actually rang me, of his own accord yesterday, just to say hello :-).
