One tenth of so many things!

Soft drinks, for sure. Piece of low quality fast food (think hotdogs, sausages, bagels). Cheap hygiene stuff, toothbrush / soap / a few napkins. A few lighters. Bout ten packs of matches. Equally much of toilet paper. Table of chocolate, or two if you're lucky, or three if you really don't care it tastes like gum and ingredients content you won't study at all as long as it's sweet.

We have a store called DOLLAR TREE where everything is a dollar. They sell stuff that other stores have discarded because it has not sold. Whereas when it was $5 it sat on a shelf. You can buy 3 bottles of peroxide for a dollar there, or two bottles of rubbing alcohol. They sell some off brand stuff, things that have an unknown brand name.

In my country $1 buys:
- 2 bananas
- 1.5 litres of milk
- cheap clothes pins
- a bar of soap
- a loaf of bread

And probably a lot of more awesome things but I can't think of any right now lol

I can get 4 used books, two if they're hard bound. I can get a blouse if I thrift shop. I can get peppermint Altoids without the tin, I can get 14 pork and veg dumplings to steam or microwave, I can get 10 mini spring rolls, I can get nearly half of a gallon of gas or so, I can get a slice of key lime pie or a peach tart, I can get a bar of almond/oatmeal soap, I can get a can of coconut milk, I can get chicken broth or beef broth, I can get wasabi peas or peanuts, I can get pepperoni, I can get a microwavable hamburger or chicken sandwich.

P.S. I will be donating next month... property taxes first.

Here in Kentucky we have stores called The Dollar Tree and there are many items that can be purchased for a dollar, I just couldn't begin to name them all...They range from food items to automobile accessories, tools, toys, figurines, holiday decorations, plastic bowls, dishes, health and beauty items etc.

The best dollar item that I ever purchased was a wooden backscratcher.... I love it!!! I have often said it was the best dollar I ever spent. :)
