I love your frogs, cherryblossom. My cousin collects frogs, too. in Nahua (Native Mexican) tradition, frogs are a symbol of good luck, sexuality, and a healthy environment. It's quite rare to see a sad frog!
I collect stuff related to my favorite Disney character. Pins, statues, stuffed animals, even a sketch that I bought and framed. It's silly and childish maybe, but I like it.
I collect Tigger's teady bears! Tigger is the english name of Tigrou - Or should I say the opposite. In my prior appartment, my bathroom was a Tigger'S bathroom... kids were crazy and kept on going to the bathroom!
Oh and vintage advertisements, magazines and games especially with female themes. I like to collect reminders of how far women have come over the years.
I collect one particular type of seashell, small with a hole in middle I wear them on a chain. Throughout therapy i put another one on each time i made a bit more progress, they have become my safety net, always there when i need a bit of extra support.
I collect musical instruments from different parts of the world. My goal is to have and be able to play (even if it i don't do the BEST job) one that originated in every region.
I also collect old cameras anywhere from 1900 to 1960.
I collect antique Rosaries- yes, I know, odd. I'm LUTHERAN, too, for God's sake and sorry for the pun. I'm think the frogs are a better idea. I love the pics! Thanks CB- how does one not smile at frogs?
Well - as Promised, here is Dave (the frog), making his debut appearance. He looks quite cool (sat on my seat, on my sofa!!). I'd almost say he's smug!! Especially since he has a glass of wine in front of him (which the camera can't see, which is my wine), and it's snowing outside, but it's lovely and warm in here.
