I've made 12 jars of tomato relish, 12 jars of eggplant chutney and about to make 4 litres of tomato sauce. From my own veg patch. :)

^ I was pouring it into sterilised bottles when I found a button chip at the bottom of the boiler! I strained my sauce back out of the bottles and found more shards. I've no idea what it came off... still wondering on that.

So my sauce was ruined. And my whole weekend of work was lost. :(:(:cry:

So tossed it all out.

Going to start again today. sigh... looking around for rogue buttons... hmm..

@blackemerald1 whats a button chip?! And oh no! ? That totally sucks for your project. I still thought it an awesome accomplishment anyway!!
I am about to have one of my own. An accomplishment that is! So often I do really brave stuff that takes huge effort and because I dont feel happy doing it, or with the result, its like it doesnt count.
Well this week has been a tough one. Big hurricaine from within. Right now im sofa bound just feeling beaten and depressed. But Im going to make myself wash my face, get my bike out of the shed and bike to the shop. I have agoraphobic tendencies when Im out of it so this is very hard. Im going to buy wrapping paper coz its my sons bday and some vegetables. ???????? for wok.

whats a button chip

It was shaped (like a large shirt button) but longer and wider and made of really hard plastic that has broken off with lots of sharp angles.. just the right shapes to rip one's intestines apart... ugh...

I've no idea where it came from. I didn't lose it off a shirt or any item of clothing. It looks like it came off some kind of machine. None of my sauce making involved machines though. I'm still thinking it all through. :confused:

It's so hard to be motivated when it feels easier to cave in and do nothing doesn't it? I don't have agoraphobic tendencies but I do avoid the shops and other crowded places. Oh.. so maybe I do. Idk... It's hard - so I can appreciate how much effort it takes.

Oh yes, I can breath much better, I have more energy and even smell better. Food tastes better and my blood pressure has normalized. I am sure there are more medical benefits that I have not even noticed yet. Thank you for asking!!!
