After receiving a Christmas card from a gal I went to high school with and her mentioning a reunion coming up in over a year, I am writing back to her. She would have to fly to the city and I know my car wouldn't make it there.

Just felt good that I was able to tell her that I had no plans in attending as lots of feelings were surfacing. Just wish she had asked me instead of taking me for granted that I would be going.

SLEEP! It's been 4-5m since the last time I slept without a nightmare or panic attack.

I've worked my ass off this last 2m and to process some intense trauma and it finally paid off last night. I was staring to feel pretty desperate.

I managed to wash the car wheels today, took me while but it was worth it, they look good now.

The rear ones were covered in the grease stuff they use when they fit new tyres, mind you, they were only fitted yesterday.

I like keeping my car clean, inside as well as out.

All social interaction I had to.

Gaining unexpected allies.

Not giving up on school.

Not giving up on me. (Shoo it, pain related self hatred.)

Not engaging in addictive behaviors.

I took a cold shower at the end of each regular shower - he-healthy! :coldfeet:

I passed some work to my best friend and didn't do all the housework alone. It's not easy to give away control.

I finished reading The Divine Comedy by Dante. :bookworm::bookworm::clown: It took me two years to read the whole book...biggest problem was that the word flow was so wonderful that I perceived the words, the tune...but not the message - so I had to read some passages again and again. :meh: It's a great work but ...I wouldn't read it regularly...:ninja: I have to admit that I prefered the part where Dante walked through Hell and Purgatory with Vergil - more exciting and Vergil was a sarcastic mate. He required thought from Dante instead of Beatrice (his company in Heaven) who just smiles and tells him that everything is holy and beautiful....:cautious: ...I did it! I read that crazy book! :p

:tup: What a classic to have under one's belt! Congrats. There are so many references to this work through out the media, art and literature (even Sci-Fy) that parts of the book are revived from time to time within your mind. You will get to feel proud again and again.:)
