I loved it when my eldest daughter would climb up on the bed while I was nursing her brother. We would all cuddle and sometimes fall asleep.

Thinking about special people I had in my life when I was kid and how nicely they treated me. They made me forget the time, place and issues I had in my life. Thinking of my grandma and playing cards with her. Once, when she thought my youngest was too little to play cards and he wanted her to read something, she told him she couldn't read. Then she told me about something she read in the paper. My youngest looked at her skeptically and asked her how she could read that if she didn't read? My grandma cracked up and said you can't put anything pass that kid. She did teach him cards. She also didn't try to outsmart him ever again. ;)

When my husband and I made choclate chip ice cream for everyones birthdays. That was so much fun and so tasty.

The quiet times when my boys were infants in the wee hours when I would be in the rocking chair, my dog asleep across my feet, safe and warm with only the sounds of my little one cooing and squeaking as he nursed.
