Went to this beautiful park overlooking the ocean and spent much enjoyable, relaxed time with my son. Video taped him having fun, too.

Then picked up my daughter from a friends house and the three of us went out to buy lobsters for a bit of a surprise supper celebration for my husband on his successful interview and promotion. He really enjoyed this, and that I cooked dinner, (om, as me cooking has been quite uncommon) but I bought enough for him and my son to indulge together.

Had a nice time tonight afterwards too, when I went to a meeting (fellowship) with three friends. I got asked to speak, from a dear person and did so, and tell my story and share ES&H. In doing so I remembered its been 11yrs April 1st since my last alcoholic drink. I left the meeting feeling both grateful and excited.

Also, I began reading another book and especially enjoy this reading and relaxation time: "Strong at the Broken Places." Today felt like a great gift, and one deeply enjoyed and appreciated.

Perhaps, all in a normal, routine day for some people, but continuing accomplishments and great stuff for me; I thank God.

Goingonhope!

This morning I emailed three wonderful friends who spend their time uplifting others. I told them what an enouragment they are for me and that I want to do a lot of heart work to become an encourager like them.

Hopefully they will give me some good advice on how to get there.

Got to work this afternoon and the lady I work for was standing out on her porch with her bathrobe on. Her garbage had blown over so I picked it up and then headed to the porch. When i opened the door I knew she was in trouble. She had locked herself out. She was shaking so bad. It was very windy today, with temps around 34. She is 86 with moderate Alzheimer's. She had been out there for 2 hours.....

I put her in my car, turned the heat on high and called her daughter to come and open the door up. So glad I didn't call in sick today.

Went to talk to a friend that is a therapist.....went to a place re:emergency housing......nothing is helping right now. I am in a bad place but keep putting one foot in front of he other.

Got through a whole lecture on different types of gliomas (brain tumors) and head injuries. So dull... yet I feel accomplished for the day. :p

well actually it was yesterday, but...I finally called someone to make an appointment to have my left shoulder attended to. I have been plagued by tendonitis since December, and am slowly losing more and more mobility in my left arm. Not good since I am left handed! So now I will get it taken care of.

Picked up a lot of boxes......i meAN A LOT. The move is inevitable and soon.

Had my son assist me to bring them in the house,
