What a mess. He's hardly going to resolve this when he doesn't even have a job. So he can't refinance anyway. And the loan company or bank is going after anyone with pockets and that's you so far. Getting him to surrender is a good idea and your admonishment is really brilliant. (But will he be smart enough to follow your advice?)

If he doesn't, the only thing you can do is file BK or reach for a fair settlement with the bank. There are companies that specialize in that but again, a lawyer is probably the best source of help. And that's more money. BK can be recovered as long as you keep that job. It's a wait but if you are smart about knowing how to recover, you can come out all the better. After 10 years, the ding is removed. I have seen it happen. But getting a mortgage.....

Watch the stress level and try and keep control of the anger. Hard to do with PTSD. It's a nightmare, Raven. Keep in touch. We are on your side. This guy needs a long talk.......

Grizzly, we are only beneficial when we are bodies in the military, and then again when they want votes. Both sides tend to forget that we are trained and experienced in a job that the "new soldiers" don't have a quarter of the experience in. A smart politician wants us dead, and a stupid one wants us to sit quietly. Between what you said and what atilla said before you have the real reasons. If the revolutionary war was fought again it would be us that would be remembered in history, we would be the ones that got misquoted all the time, and the politicians would fall through the cracks of history. No one would remember them beyond "for their greed they where strung up on the lawn of the whitehouse so that the next group would not soon forget what will happen if they follow the same path."

The problem is that I don't feel like being sued for the debt, or the remainder of the debt after the car is repo'd and it's auctioned for half its trade-in value. There's still about $20,000 left to be paid on that loan.

So what you really need is a competant repo? Chat up the bank, find out who they use in his areas, then give Repo a ring and offer an extra bill as bounty on top of their fee along with any info you have on the vehicle location. One better if you have OnStar or similar? Give 'em the code to track that bitch.

Same line of reasoning, report a stolen vehicle to the local PD where douche nozzle is staying. Just tell them the truth; ex has fled the jurisdiction of your divorce with a vehicle in your name (you'll need to fax them the paperwork to prove it), is refusing to make payments, remove your name, or return the vehicle so you're being held responsible by the bank, and you want to report the car stolen. Then place a betting pool as to who finds the damn thing first? Repo or 5-0.

I'm sure Gary will just loooooove another visit from the police. Especially if you tip them as to his record. Police really love blokes who beat on women, steal cars, and assault officers. It makes them all warm and fuzzy inside.

H.R.4269 it's stupid, it was introduced the 16 of December and I read about it today. When I saw it it was as usual "they are coming for our guns" but when I looked in to it I realized that it has a 2% chance of ever even getting anywhere. I think that any politician that supports it should be fired and tried for treason but the internet warriors that make comments about "I hope they try" or "I'm your huckleberry" need to check themselves. All those idiots are doing is making the over all responsible gun owners look like blood thirsty morons. Anyone who ever had to be a warrior knows that the biggest talker is the first to choke so I know who I don't want to stand by. looking at some of those people talking big I saw they bashed the "militia" if these people believed half of what they said maybe they should join that militia. I don't know enough about the militia to give an educated opinion. From what I have seen/heard they sound like they are looking for trouble. I might be wrong, but when I looked for a reason on why they are doing what they are doing I keep getting vague indirect info. If they had a purpose they would have displayed it so anyone that agrees would follow them.

"I'm your huckleberry" is probably not even what doc holiday said. Yes he was educated, but why would "huckleberry" fight "Tom sawyer?" With his accent he probably said "I'm your huckle berrer" meaning one of the 6 that will carry your casket... Aka "I'll burry you"

You are right. It probably won't get anywhere. But I can see it getting amended to the point that some rights will be taken. Little baby steps. All this does is drive fear and diversion.

I'm not sure what militia you are talking about. There are several, the national III% movement though I don't think they consider themselves a militia. I do think the FBI probably does though.

From my involvement, at the state chapter level they appear pretty disorganized and un-trained. There seem to be a few military people but the most part appear to be civilians who haven't got a clue. They just want to show up with their tacticool stuff and play paintball or whatever.

I think a lot of the "militias" are just doing this shit and showing up in their tac gear because they can. Extremely disorganized for the most part without a clear cause. I think the intent is good for the most part,but I agree that it adds fuel to the fire and ammo for those who call them right wing gun nuts..which in some cases may be true. Misguided patriotism is just as bad as no patriotism at all, I think. IDK. One has to wonder if it makes it more difficult for those who have America's best interests at heart to get this country back on track...IDK.

The militia I am talking about is the one that occupied the government building in Oregon. They don't seem to be organized and IMO don't have a clear motive. I'm not saying that they don't have a good one it just isn't clear to me. With everything bad that I/we could say about the government I am willing to bet we all will wait till the other side draws first. From what I have read the guys in Oregon are the same ones that defended the rancher in Texas. I'm sorry, no one is above anyone else when it comes to being taxed so it looks more like these guys want a fight.

I think you are on-point about wanting a fight. They seem to want to tout the constitution but likely don't even know what's in it. I don't know. There are certainly better ways to get a point across that putting your shit on the line in order to get people hurt. And then eventually going to jail. JMO.

My brain pisses me off today. Somehow for the last four months, I paid 1.62 for the electric bill instead of 162.00. They will likely shut off the power here shortly. I'm broke and in the hole badly thanks to Warpug's attempted xylitol gum suicide. even if I pawned a bunch of shit and abused my overdraft protection it will only delay the inevitable. Doesn't help I haven't been paid by my job in two months.
