Found a Cinnabon shop! Of course had to test it right away! And found Starbucks coffee (whole beans) at a supermarket that I normally don't go to! Finding life in South Africa a lot more bearable today. Also sourced a Subway at Johannesburg Airport a while ago!

I actually met someone else who is amazing! She's going to school to be a therapist, she's a great cook, super caring, and overwhelmingly smart! She baked me the most amazing food today :)

Well, it was a sparkling Flagstaff day. Temp in the 70's and I went tire hunting. I haven't been tire shopping for a very long time. Obviously! The man says "well we have this brand of tire" pointing to a 3 inch high profile. I'm thinking, one, if they mounted those on the Healey, the damn thing wouldn't have made it out of the parking lot and two, that's not a tire, that's a FLAT!

I went several places. One said they wouldn't go near the wire wheels. (Well, at least he told me). Obviously, I have some study to do regarding tires.

The Healey operated in it's normal 754 degrees celsius and only had to hit the "turbo boost fan" once, you know the one, it makes the house lights dim as I motor down the street.

It was a motorhead's delight of a day. I sincerely hope your day was as pleasant.

Ha! Angle, I'm at the "add and drive" stage....add the respective lubricant to the fill line and drive er'. So, if you guys see the cost of crude oil skyrocket, you know who to blame! Friend invited me down to a pub downtown for a pint and you should see people look at her. First they'd come up, look her over, then go back and look at the name flash, then they'd walk back as if to say "Austin WHAT?".

But the exhaust note is worth every penny I paid!

I just washed her down yesterday, so she's looking pretty good. Will take some pics and try to figure out how to reduce the pic size so it will post here.

To those that don't understand what the big thing is about classic cars, for a motorhead, it's therapy of the highest order. When one turns that wrench, it's positive reinforcement. Job successfully done, raises self image. There's a definite positive psycological boost.

Only negative is my arthritus plays hell trying to get under the car. So, I'll have to have a mechanic chase leaks underneath.
