What skills can't you do without?

• Meditation & Metta (Loving Kindness to self & others)
• Slow deep breathing
• Progressive Muscle Relaxation
• Making some efforts towards having a routine that includes things like exercise, cleaning, sleep hygiene & something that fills you up like being in nature or dancing.
• Cooking, especially a new recipe
• Journaling from a place of curiosity to help me connect to myself & discover how I'm feeling. Each entry has a Mark out of 10 for mood, and is titled with the main thing that contributed to that mood.
• Regularly challenging myself - short, medium and long term challenges. For eg when I.devided I wanted fo take up meditating I startedeoth 2 minutes a day and worked my way up.

Taking where I am now (leaving aside the mass of work I have had to do to arrive where I am):
Mindfulness - moment by moment
Actively trying to identify emotional states and the reason for them
Grounding skills
Radical Acceptance
Self soothing
Trusting my instincts (whilst taking hypervigilance, triggerdness etc into account).
Keeping some sort of interpersonal contact (as much as hate that this is required for health)

One of the biggest challenges and which I ignore is the ability to regulate my sleep.
