What You Watching On Netflix

I just caught up with Criminal Minds, Sherlock and Once Upon a Time and binge watched The Tudors. Next on the list is Dr. Who (someone will take my geek card someday soon unless I bite) and Farscape.
I really highly recommend Once Upon a Time.

That whole winter and not having a job because of my unstable living situation thing has created a great chance to watch Netflix while I knit holiday gifts.

I'm thinking of starting Doctor Who soon as well.

I've been watching Supernatural. There is a lot of blood/gore in it, and violence, but most of the storylines have multiple meanings. Binge watching it has really been a great exercise in extinguishing my conditioned response to simulated violence. It's so prolific and over the top that it's absurdly funny.

Also, both characters clearly show all signs of PTSD. They are broken people, but still manage to accept and love each other despite all the drama. The show pokes fun at itself, pop culture, American culture, fame, and gives a tip of the hat to many of the science fiction shows and movies from days past. Many cast members from these shows appear in one episode or another.

The fact that both of the leading men are HOTTIESSSSS certainly helps me. :)

I was a loyal fan of Longmire and it was cancelled by A&E. The fans wouldn't let it fade away, and guess what, Netflix has picked it up, so next year it will be back.

It ended with one of those cliff-hanging episodes, so fans can't wait to see what happened, me included.

Watching thru Dr. Who - I've slowed myself down tho! :-)

Also looking forward to the second season of Longmire!
I'm up to date on Sherlock.
I'm saving the newest season of Once Upon a Time.

I'll have to check out Supernatural... my daughter likes it too...

When I'm really sick I tend to do Buffy marathons... (guilty pleasure)

One series I'm enjoying now is Bletchley Circle... and it is fun watching the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries... The CLOTHES!!!! and cars... awesome.

This makes it sound like I watch much more tv online than I do... I guess this is over the last couple of years...:x3:
