Whatcha doooooooin'?

We picked out a kitten from our local animal shelter. She's really sweet. We had to fill out an adoption form. Anyone can do that, so I hope no one filled out an application for her or I hope we get her. She's going to be a good cat. She's 12 weeks and very vocal. I can hear her pur when I'm sitting beside her. ( loud purer) She hasn't been spayed yet so that will take a couple more days. She's had her shots, already. I should have taken a pic of her. I'm glad we went because she wasn't on the shelter's website.

We had to put my beloved ? down Thursday. ( that was so hard.. I loved her dearly. She is in my avatar) I was suprised we found a kitten with characteristics of her.

Hoping we get her!

Drinking coffee and contemplating the afterlife. I won't go into details but something happened that made me start thinking about it. Also, I am trying to make a collage of my family so that I can post it to my desktop background. Seeing them all together makes me feel blessed, and loved, (and a little sad too...but it's worth it).

Unpacking, watering the garden, doing dishes, washing clothes and trying to work out what I'm going to get done tomorrow. Oh and trying to lift myself out of a gigantic hole (depression) that I fell into and I don't know why....

I deliberately took off my pj's and put them into the washing machine so I had to get properly dressed! :wtf: am I doing??

We're eating peanut butter/chocolate chip cookies with milk and watching Bat Woman.

Been on the phone with some folks that help the homeless in my town. They do all sort of things. They minister, they refer folks to rehab centers, they work with the county jail, they are about to get GED delivered at their ministry and oh so much more. I am so happy they are here doing all this, but I just found out about it now! How long they have been doing all this I do not know.

Watching into the badlands. Spell Check changed it to garlands maybe to make things more festive. Got off phone with my therapist. After discussion on my current condition she was concerned. Took a Vistaril and some bedtime tea to calm the wildness a bit. Slightly sedatey. Wish it were closer to bed so I could take the rest of my Vistaril which I'm on for my anxiety.

Got a new cat! She's sweet and loving! She's tall! Lol... We have another one we adopted at the shelter but she's not ready yet ( spayed) Here's our new one! She's busy smelling the place out. Lol!

I am trying to brace myself for an arctic blast that is set to move into the area tonight and the beginning of a trauma anniversary. Both require a degree preparedness tho I think I am more ready for the cold weather than I am the anniversary.

Yup, we are preparing for that arctic blast too, here. I have all the warm cloths I need. Here are my new boots.

I have this awesome black faux fur coat that looks like something from the turn of last century. I will see if I can get someone to snap a photo of me in it.
