What's Good About Today?

That the doctors appointment is all over. I do not have to do the fasting bloodwork until later on.

I feel better after having such a bad day and I know now that everything is going to be ok.

I have my family all around me. Talked to my daughter about getting the older granddaughter into Independent Studies so she does not have to go to High School.

It is a very pretty day with a comfortable temperature.

Coming home from work in the big city with 28°C and in my cool flat.

That I feel real joy and I have a difficult situation coming my way in the afternoon and I feel so good in spite of it and no matter what. I always wanted to feel joy. But it is so real to me now. I still have so much healing to go on still. I think I have a long ways to go. But this joy is a real perk of my healing process.

I am starting to drive again and I went out and ran some errands. Got some business taken care of at the bank and bought me a bottle of my favorite perfume.

My eldest son is actually putting in the effort to increase his grade so that we will get graduation tickets. He told me so today. He has so little time, but I am glad to hear he is, at least, putting forth the effort.

My new therapist seems to be okay. She said "for sure" a lot. Says she works with a lot of teenagers. I didn't get any bad vibes.

Today is a happy day with my family. All is well and we are expecting Sphinx kittens any day now.
