True, but I find that even people who've been in but never deployed have more of a clue than civs do.

Raven and Dutchie. Both have valid points. I have dated military men, with a clue and without. And neither ended very well. Actually more so dating someone who has PTSD and me having it definitely was a bad go around. Maybe at the time we didn't know how to control it but it was not a good time for either of us. We still talk and let out our frustrations about others but we won't ever be in another relationship because of the Beast that lies within both of us. It is also very hard to date someone who doesn't have a clue, because they'll either not understand at all and tell you to suck it up, they'll just let you be, or they'll run scared. Shit happens and one day maybe I'll find someone who can deal.
