You Are Not Forgotten, During This Time Of Need.

To those members, who are experiencing no heat or power, in eastern and central Canada and the eastern United States, as the result of last weekend's ice storms, you are not forgotten, during this time of family and compassion. I, myself, experienced 41:42 hours without heat or power, in my apartment, before it was restored, yesterday, at 4:42 pm. May your power and heat be restore soon, so you may celebrate, with true warmth and joy.

Ugh. I hate when that used to happen Therisa! And at the holiday too. Once my water froze in addition to no heat. I bought an electric blanket after that.

I hope you are warm now and stay warm!! It's pretty darn cold here in my neck of the woods. Slept with my hood over my head.

Supportive wishes to all that are affected. The UK also has parts that are presently without power or are flooded and damaged.

Here is hoping everyone has a safe, warm and dry 25 th. .

I have family in that area whose power has been out since Saturday night and the temperature today has been minus 15 degrees Celsius. Fortunately they have gone to stay with friends who do have power about an hour out of town. Some folks may not have power until Thursday. It was a really bad storm.

I'm sorry to hear you were without. I was only without heat once in my life for over 24 hours. It was the apartment building's fault but they downplayed it. But I digress.

I am glad to hear your power has been restored! Hope your kitty is alright.

An update, as of today, about 57 000 customers are still without power or heat, in Toronto and may not get restored until the New Year, as Toronto Hydro has to go house to house, to restore them. Plus there is the added danger with recent snowfall and strong winds, here, added to the cold temperature.
