What are things that give you comfort in stressful times?

Some of mine
-Washing laundry in the morning
-Showering
-Good scents: lavender, pine, rose scebted soaps abd detergents
- Good songs in youtube
-the feeling after you have vacuumed the house. I have vacuuming but I hate dustballs even more
-Soft fabrics: I love soft blankets and thick and soft pullovers
-Morning coffee and slow breakfast

Mine is a little weird, but it works

I like to read about the daily national/ international holidays of the world, and then if I don't know about a holiday and what it's for, I look it up and learn about it.

I have been doing this since 2019, and honestly I find it really comforting despite the fact that so many of the holidays are now just repeats.

I also recently discovered audiobooks, and for someone who struggles to find the patience for reading, They work wonders. I used to love reading hard cover books as a kid, now I just don't have the focus

I feel that too ^^^. I suppose being functional in my own time/ schedule.

Interesting point @Friday , never thought of that being the reason, I think that is right.

Tactile: my duvet, a hug, roses and smelling them (sticking my nose in them, the soft feel), the feel of the dog's fur, reading short words that are supportive. Sunshine.
