Your Pet Did What!?!

I had my hands full with my part brittany spaniel during storms. He just hated them. He had epilepsy and was on phenobarbitol for it. One day we had a storm and if I didn't see it I wouldn't have believed it. The poor little guy was trying to climb the walls. Then he would have a seizure. I then called the vet and asked if there was anything I could give him. I can't remember if it was a whole or half of a childrens motion sickness pill. That didn't work too bad but he still got anxious with storms.

I was reminded this morning of the time my cat was going through one of her sprinting routines through the house. I was sitting at the kitchen table and there was a newspaper on the end of the table. She ran across the kitchen, jumped up on the table, tried to stop but landed on the newspaper and slid all the way across the table off the other side and into the garbage can! True story, I swear!:roflmao:

I have three fish in my office... and even though they seem unintelligent they always make me smile. If I'm near them while talking to a coworker they follow me around. Even when I'm alone in the room and closing up, I always say good night to them and they settle at the bottom of their bowls. They are really something... Really miss having simple things/people around me.

My Abby girl cat is so friendly. Today she invited one of the neighbours cats into the house, I found them both asleep together upstairs on my bed. The other cat didn't like it when I tried to pick him up, so he ran downstairs and stopped before he went out to eat all of her food hahaha

I took my pup to his first pet store and he "picked" a toy for himself.I wasn't looking and behind me I suddenly heard the squeaking.

hahaha! That's too cute! My dog rummages thru the supermarket bags everytime I come home looking for toys, etc. Last wk he found my medication in the shopping bag and ran off with it down the stairs. He loves the chew little boxes, see.

I had to catch him to make sure he didn't eat my meds - but as I had 2 sprained ankles it was slow going. I found him on my bed with the box in pieces but all the medication intact ;)

Oh yes, he also loves to bite bubble wrap. Pop! Pop! Pop! *snort* He's as silly as a wheel.

I remember when I had my part brittany, he just loved the water. But brittany's are a breed used for hunting and flushing. No idea how many sprinklers I had to replace with him playing with them. When it was time to bath him. I would ask him if he wanted a bath and he would run into bathroom and jump into the tub and as if to say come on pour the water I'm ready. I wished all of my dogs were like that. My schnauzer I have now, when it rains and I want her to go out to do her business. She looks at me as if to say, you don't expect me to go out in that and get wet do you?

I have 4 dogs. One Mastador (half black lab, Half english mastiff), one beagle, one shih tzu, and one miniature schnauzer.

I take my schnauzer and my Mastador to Therapy with me. They help me stay grounded, but in totally different ways. Diamond, my mastador, sits on my feet. Or she will place herself between my therapist and I and between both of us and the door. While she sits on my Therapists feet! She is soo protective in a quiet I am bigger than you are and I can sit on you sort of way.
