Had A Nice Day On Mackinac Island

My wife and I spent the afternoon on Mackinac Island. If you have seen the Movie "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour, this is the island it was filmed on.

I went there a few years back. Got to ride a horse for the first and last time. lol. It smelled like fudge and horse poop everywhere.. Not to be confused lmao. Was very pretty and fun though.

We live close to the island, and enjoy going there. It was a perfect day, other than the smell of horse pee.
For those who do not know, automobiles are not allowed on the island, so all freight is delivered by horse and wagon. The tourist get around by either walking, bicycle, or horse and buggy.

Glad you enjoyed it. My wife & I have never been there, live nearby in UP as well. Maybe get there some day.
