@lostforgottensoul - thanks for your reply! I sort of wondered if it would been seen by Trump supporters as more confirmation that the establishment is against Trump and trying to rig everything against Trump, and if anything, their admiration for Trump standing up against the "assholes" of the GOP would increase.

In talking with a few Trump supporters, they all pretty much share the view of your father. It's almost like the few I have spoken with see Trump as the valiant rebel. (I clearly have a different opinion.)

I think it's important to try to understand how people process the same facts and events so very differently.

Agreed! I listen to all sides before forming an opinion because if not, my opinion is one sided and not worth much!

Plus all opinions, even if they dont agree with them, are still vaild and I still hear them even if I disagree with them.

I think all "Trump supporters" will have the same-ish view. That the 50 are pissed off that all other GOP has to drop out. But isnt that why we have primaries?

Can I ask from registered Republicans that decided to vote for Hillary in this election, why they decided to do so as opposed to the others? Simply because Im register Rep and Im on the fense now of voting libertarian, for Hillary or not at all.

Id like to hear good arguments on why they have decided to vote that way. Ive already read one great arguement for Clinton from a registered Republican in the "Hillary support thread". This question just felt missplaced there.

Im not looking for "Trump bashing" or "Hillary bashing" or even this one or that one is the best. I am just simply looking for why specifcally registered Rebublicans decided to vote for Hillary is all as opposed to the rest is all.

ETA: Sorry about that @joeylittle, I was thinking asking this here would be taking it off topic.

I have really been researching online and watching rallies, speeches and other sources and I have decided to vote for Trump.

The Washington insiders especially the GOP have been so complacent and lazy and have not represented my values and beliefs at all, and Trump has really been shaking them up which they have long needed.

I will take a wait and see how things develop in the election process and accept that either party could win.

I have been watching special interest groups that have been protesting and I find it so lacking in common sense.

I am not afraid of Trump as being president at all. I especially like the fact that he is more interested in what Americas interests are.

Can I ask, if you are comfortable of course, to expand on that. I feel so split and on one hand I can see voting for Trump, he aligns with me in so many areas but then I cant get the 3 nuke questions he asked out of my brain and at the moment thats whats scaring me the most.

Id like to know more about why you see him not scary. Not that you are wrong, im asking to learn is all. Again, only if you are comfortable.

I haven't made up my mind between Clinton or Johnson or possibly McMullin. The argument that has me considering Clinton the most is that she is the most likely to be able to beat Trump. What I don't like about this is that voting for the lessor of two evils is how we got here and I have a few concerns about Clinton and how she will grow government more. Compared to Trump though, I think we can survive even the worst of Clinton or Johnson, and we might gain some positives. I don't know if we survive the worst of Trump.

I'm curious, this isn't a challenge at all, just a question to understand. Can you give a couple of examples of values and beliefs that have they failed to represent that you feel Trump better represents? If you don't want to share on this, that's ok too.

I will try okay. He is politically incorrect and if you know anything about this subject among the many who are fed up with the status quo of being forced to walk on eggshells around special interest groups. I do have a point.

He is a Washington outsider which I like very, very much and the dems and repubs that are lifers are more concerned with lining their own pockets and do not represent me although they claim they do.

I think that Trump will not be using nukes at all. He has Americas interests at heart which I think it is about friggen time that he dares to run not being bought or sold by any special interest group. He is doing far better than the leftist media says.

I am not worried at all. But Clinton scares the hell out of me.

I seriously cannot fathom why anyone would support someone who does this tiptoe dance of dropping assassination hints toward their rival.

Trump is so damn UN-American it isn't even funny.

If you don't understand the list of 50 and think it's just about whiny republicans who don't get their way, you're woefully in the dark when it comes to the current state of politics. Consulting this thread alone isn't going to enlighten you when it comes to the election. Nor is consulting faux news which is an entertainment entity, not a news entity, so seriously it's like getting your info from the E! channel. Lol. It's like Kardashian politics! But I guess they both do cater to the same crowd.

But Clinton scares the hell out of me.

Me too!

And

voting for the lessor of two evils is how we got here

Agreed! Agreed! Agreed!

And

Clinton and how she will grow government more.

We have a big enough government. If it gets bigger than "Big Brother" will be telling me when to take a shit! How f*cking big do we need it?

If anything the States need to control more.

I recently learned about Texas, that State controls a lot more than most. For instanse, they are the only State that has no building codes and never have and let the economy dictate where buildings will go. Therefore, the economy works best if there isnt a factory next to a housing development and shopping malls are best near big roads.

It is also the only State in which someone can build a tiny home and actually live in it. In other States, you cannot build a tiny home and live in it due to how small the structure is.

Ever heard of the shows Tiny House Big Living, Tiny House Nation, Tiny House Hunters, Tiny House Hunting?

So I can build my dream home, being a Tiny House, but its illegal to live in it because of big government building codes when I WANT to live in a small structure? Why does the government get to tell how big my home must be? And most tiny homes are AMAZING!

You can search for more Tiny House legal restrictions. It is ridiculous that some spend $15,000 - $30,000 and some on up to $60,000 amd higher for a smaller priced home to own, customized just for them and they can own it and park it but can't live in it because of government zoning laws?

And that's just one example and I know about it as I was intrested in doing it. The "Tiny House movement" has become big!

We need smaller government, not bigger!
