Does anyone have any more info on whether it will actually be legalized?

My T has told me that she wishes it was legal bc she thinks it would help more than the plethora of meds I'm on now and is healthier and not as addictive.

My meds are slowly working less and less & im just desperate for anyone who takes it.

When I took it in the past it made me extremely paranoid but as I understand, the legal ones are made specifically to target different areas/mental health issues?

I'm from Colorado, so I don't have a single clue about the laws over in Florida. I hope that they do indeed legalize it over there for medical use, though. Just keep in mind that sometimes it's only for certain conditions.

Marijuana doesn't help me with everything, but I swear by it for nightmares. It only takes a couple puffs off of my vaporizer each night and they stop entirely. I've never had a single nightmare after taking it. Sometimes it's all what pushes me through the day to keep going. I prefer strains that are a little higher in CBD but not entirely (the THC is what makes you high, but also stops the nightmares and helps Link Removed). I used the stuff meant for recreational use at first and it's still very good. Some of the medical strains still make me paranoid, so it's a process of trial and error.

I'd reccommend visiting CO in the meantime to make sure if it works for you.

"Reform memories"? What does that mean?
I can get it in CO without being a resident?

So ur saying it doe...
Yup. You can definitely buy it in CO if you aren't a resident, as long as you're over the age of 21. Most places will charge a little more for not being a resident, but regardless, they'll let you buy it. I've even managed to travel back on a plane with about $400 worth of edibles. :roflmao:

It helps for when I feel one coming on and as a preventative solution for them. I'm not capable of grabbing my vape while having a dissociative episode (that and nightmares make up >80% of my symptoms, hence the name... I could probably could qualify for DID if more people knew what it was! :coffee:) or panic attack. Kinda like an antidepressant would, but 100x more effective.

As in reforming memories, I mean that it helps sort of "reconnect" the bits of the brain associated with trauma and help gain a new outlook. Dead Link Removed

Thank you so much! Don't have the head to read the article on reform memories now but will!
You're welcome! If you ever visit Denver, I'd recommend checking out Native Roots on 16th St. The full-blown stoners around here have a tendency to diss the more popular places on 16th like that and Euflora because of the prices and tourists, but the budtenders there are incredibly helpful towards newcomers and non-Denverites. I am also a big fan of Cannabis Station on 20th St, but it's kind of an icky area.

Also, I'd reccommend trying strains high in CBD as well. Not 100% pure extract though 'cuz that's expensive and doesn't work for nightmares. (Or at least in my experience... A little THC is all that I need for my nightmares, and I've tried basically every med recommended for nightmares out there. My gran swears by Prazosin, though.) It acts as an antipsychotic and helps offset the negative effects of pot. There's even been research into using large doses of it for schizophrenia, and it naturally occurs in flaxseeds. Considering that you've had issues with paranoia in the past, it's probably a good thing to try.

And, most importantly, stick to small doses. It's really easy to go overboard when using edibles or dabbing. I took a little bit too much tincture once 'cuz it took so long to kick in and it was awful. But I can laugh at myself over that now. :D

I use it currently and it works very well. It will be on the ballot in Nov in my state and will probably pass. I have not gotten the prescription card because it is about 300 bucks. I have been on opiates and synthetics and though they work very well I find the grass much easier to manage with only the minor side effects. I've been on it over a year and have not increased my dose much so it's also very cheap. It's so strong I can make a 20 dollar gram last 3 weeks or a month. (Obviously I'm a stoner by definition but I've been worse things). Occasionally I think I'll have to switch meds sometime but for now I'm OK.

Finally more common sense in this one. I really hope that it passes.
