@lostforgottensoul Hillary can't just outright increase the minimum wage. Here in Maine we have it on our ballot. States can make that decision themselves. When people get more money, the cost of living does inch up as the businesses raise their prices to cover the loss of profit. Having more expendable income will trigger competition for goods and services, , so quality of life improves. Hillary would probably support programs to help low paid workers learn a skilled occupation. That would be great for young single moms who never went to college.

Yes, Mecklenburg is the largest county in NC.
