What helped me recently was writing a hope plan. List of reasons to have hope. There is hope that if she gets counseling, she may see the truth and want to reconcile with you. There is hope that your grandchild will make up their own minds when they get older.

That is really sad...

I think the tough part of relationships is accepting that we can’t fix other people, the best thing we can do for those we love is to get healthy ourselves and pray for them.

A while ago, she sent me seven videos of cutting herself on her birthday and since she lives an hour away from me and it was two in the morning I called the police to do a home health check on her to see if she was okay and that is when she quit speaking to me.

I don’t think you are unhealthier at all. I think she is and being around you makes her feel bad because she’s not making good choices.

Sometimes things get worse before they get better, I hope she can get some help too. She will need you if things get worse.
