I have broken many cassette players back when they were the only way to listen to music on the go besides a radio. It didn't matter if they were in the car or handheld carry devices. I wonder if it's because the biochemistry is off inside me. Who knows.

I've also broken radio clocks, electronic clocks, and CD players just by using them. I'm not talking overuse either.

I've thankful for listening to the music I choose on my iPhone. I've not broken it yet and I've owned it for three years now. That's a record. Though I will say that I've noticed strange anomalies occurring with it: Things never reported as problems on Apple.

The only time I caused electrical things to go haywire was when I crawled under my grandmother's (the old wooden cabinet TV's) and stuck the live end of an electrical plug in my mouth. I was 18 months old. I still remember seeing the cords dangling under the cabinet and crawling over to it and picking up the one cord and putting in my mouth. I remember a huge jolt :woot:and then nothing. Apparently, it knocked me unconscious:sleep: and blew out the Christmas lights that were strung over the fireplace mantle. I still have scars in my mouth to this day, from the event. (and yeh, it seems my children and I all have memories from very early childhood. Weird, but we do.)

I've done that too @Zoogal . I used to have odd problems with my cars which mechanics couldn't figure out how to fix. Eventually the problems would go away by themselves or morph into other odd problems... again. I had a Dodge Dart which I nicknamed "Danny" Dodge Dart that constantly had odd things going haywire in it.

We just use an antenna for tv and when J comes in the room / house the connection goes in and out. We always have to move it around to get a better signal. It's kinda comical now because he can just raise an arm and the picture will clear up. Like when we used wire hangers for antennas in the old days.

I can't wear watches -- both windups and battery ones go kerplunkt on me. It makes me feel like an idiot, like an irresponsible adult for not wearing one, but they just stop working. I can't help it.

My husband, on the other hand, has endless computer problems. I've really begun to wonder if it's something in his biochemistry. I have never, ever known anyone with so many computer problems.

Same here @hodge .

When I entered nursing school I was required to purchase a watch. My stepdad took me to this expensive store to buy me the best watch: A gift for getting accepted to nursing school. The first watch I went home with stopped working before I got out to the car. Back in we went. The salesman was stumped. He put another watch around my wrist. Busted again. A third. Same result. The only one which worked and I still possess was a Seiko self-winding watch. It kept perfect time and never had a problem.
