I never trust relationship jumpers. You know, people who get out of one relationship and immediately jump into another. People say it’s a way of coping but I call BS. I think it’s a shitty thing to do to not only your ex but your future conquest who doesn’t want to deal with ex baggage.

@Sighs I know it hurts to see he’s on a dating site. Please know, it had nothing to do with you. He has no self esteem and instead of looking at himself. He put ting on a mask. A mask of someone he knows he isn’t. You know yourself, he can only wear the mask for so long, before the real person he is comes out. He can’t be alone. Because if he’s alone, who does he have to blame for all his bullshit on. I’m glad your going for your half. He will fight you on it, because he wants the control. He will do what ever it takes to take away any control he feels you have. He will then start with the mind games and manipulating he has always done. He will try to start the cycle again.

Never underestimate an asshat or whatever you may want to call him. If he had wanted quick, easy, and reasonable, he would have been out and split your assets a long time ago. He would have realized you were both unhappy. Shake your head and exit the fantasy. This is now business.
Get the legal and objective advice/opinion/solicitor. It is money well spent for your peace of mind. Someone who is all business and on your side. If your solicitor says your end is worth more, then it is. You can always decide later to settle for less. Nothing says "I'm done!" more than a simple "Talk to my lawyer" followed by blocked contact. I'm glad you are out. You deserve more.
