Another perfect day weather wise. Spring is asserting herself. :)

Unfortunately no rain. So farmers are cutting their wheat crops into hay. Still brings in some income but I'm sure prices for food will rise without our usual reserves.

I am so ready for Fall weather to arrive, but instead, we have had temps in the '90s. Right now it's 2 a.m. and we have a clear night and 67 degrees. Winds are light, but the humidity is like 70-something percent. C'mon Fall weather. I bought a new hoodie and I want to wear it and I look forward to sitting around the fire with family and friends.

Oddly enough? The mist smells like marshmallows???

Either someone is experimenting with a new sugar based rocket fuel, there was a catastrophic accident at the sugar factory, or I have a migraine coming on.

It's fall. The last few days Have been so beautiful. Since mid August actually it's been really nice.

The first of the trees have turned, splashes of color here and there. The last few years I photographed the foliage everywhere I drive and sent the pictures to my daughter where she lives in the desert around Phoenix.

She misses New England and in days like this I know why. The weather is so good it feels like a vacation even in the same old places. But New England is all about the seasons.

It's high seventies low humidity and blue skies with big white cumulus clouds everywhere, lite northerly winds. It reminds me of NH weather up in the white mountains.

Cold rain on a hot day.
Hail & thunder.
Blue skies and briskly fall.

Noon to 4pm.

Spring! Trees & blooms. Bees & butterflies. Everything is hungry for colour and pollen.

The weather is irritable. Waking up from a long, dark sleep.. small bursts and then regress into the still frosts. Cuddle up and stay warm. Winter does not want to let go.. but it will.
