not sure what I'm doing here either
hope your day is going ok. Not sure what to do if they are getting rid of chat :( at first I thought maybe I had been kicked out for some reason.
I had a heart attack on Monday night.@Survivor3 Forgive me for asking, but why are you waking up in the hospital? I hope you heal soon and get to go home where I am sure you will be more comfortable.
So I am just checking in. I have been here on the site for a little while now and have become a bit of a dinosaur. Still, peer support and journaling are two indispensable parts of my healing journey....and because of that, I don't want to leave here. I think this is an awesome site and have learned a lot. I have also changed and grown a great deal since first coming here.
Anyways, there is not a whole lot happening with me right now, but I wanted to drop in, say hello, and wish everyone well!!!
Peace,
Lion
5 days. Should be out saturday.Hey you :)
Did they say how long you're stuck there?
We have 2 adult autistic daughters of our six children we care for full time. Then there’s me. ( separate discussion). That’s our ? Niche? Idk. That’s what we are, it’s what we do. We go back and forth to special needs programs and interact with state agencies set up to provide assistance to families in our situation. It’s full time. In essence our home is a home for the handicapped and my wife and I are full time care givers. 24/7. We are in our sixties and the girls in their late twenties.Special needs community....really broad term....I think I fit that definition under 3 different criteria. I'm really glad you have a place that works for you....that's so important....so I think this is the chatty part of the thread....not sure what I'm doing here either...I saw it was a new thread and I never used chat...didn't know it was there....LOL.....
