Hellooooo, so for years, I've wanted to build a room or cabinet that was small like a closet, that I could get inside when I'm sensory overloaded or otherwise freaking out. It would be black on the inside, soundproofing material, if it was a cabinet it'd have handles on the inside. Soft blanket, maybe soft lights that can be turned off for complete darkness. I am five feet tall (~1.52 meters) and 125 pounds (~57 kg). The advantage to a cabinet is when I move, I can take it with me, without having to rebuild a closet, and if say I rent a house and can't make permanent changes or if there's no or not very good closets, I still have the cabinet. The disadvantage to a cabinet is, although I'm small, this would have to be pretty sturdy and big enough for me to fit, which can be hard to find. What do you guys think? Any ideas? I've seen those like sensory tents that kids use, but I don't like how thin the walls are.
**Sorry, I maybe should have put this in the social thread? I thought of it after the fact and am not sure how to move it**
