I5) I can tell my wife, my kids, my grandkids that I love them. Sometimes that is not said enough in this world. "I love you" And virtually any time the kids, grandkids, my Mom or sisters and family part, we do it with a hug.

Getting there ISH, only 95 more to go ... you can do it ;)

Yay! I made it!! It was hard but I did it!
Congratulations to you! :) Nooow, what shall I draw for you? :D

I'm really amazed at how many people have finished this challenge already, and at the ease with which some here can take a friendly, or even loving, look into the mirror. It keeps me from resigning to the fact that I've been stuck for several weeks now. I just have to keep looking and feeling and practicing to be nice to me. And hey, I do know nearly 40 things I like about myself! That's surely a lot more than even most 'healthy' people could come up with ad hoc. I should appreciate that.

*pats herself on the shoulder in a non-sarcastic way* You don't really hate yourself, see? It's not hopeless. You're totally likeable, even to yourself.

EDIT: Oh! Oh! Here! Omg:
37. I like about myself that I - together with my husband - built the kind of marriage where both partners tend to forget about the anniversary and their own as well as each other's birthday because there are so many prolonged displays of affection, whole days full of quality time, long walks and everyday exchanges of little, casual gifts that it simply doesn't matter. It's been 9 years now and I am too happy for words about the fact that I have this in my life, and that I built - and keep building - a part of it.
38. I like about myself that I am the kind of woman who likes to go out into the woods with her husband, into a grotto, where husband makes a fire to cook dinner over, and where she spends the night with him, listening to the rain outside.
39. I like about myself that I don't get angry about little things like husband's strangled toothpaste tubes, his piles of dirty clothes next to the door, the fire smoking like crazy because he put moist wood on it, husband not packing the olives she asked for or husband storing dirty cat food dishes next to the kitchen door until they smell deadly. I actually love his little imperfections, and if I need them to stop (the smoke and the dishes), I bring that up in a loving, gentle manner and include myself in any actions necessary to stop them.
40. I like about myself that I am the kind of woman who doesn't demand complete, uninterrupted attention when she's officially having quality time with her husband, but can occupy herself (with her own thoughts or by exploring the moss, the insects, the tree bark etc. around her) while he's playing around with his brand new iPhone toy in the middle of the woods (for example), or take an interest in the distraction / partake in it.

That was a self-appreciative retelling of my anniversary last weekend :D

6) I genuinely care about people. It can make it difficult sometimes because I read that someone is in pain and it's like I feel a little of it. I know, weird. LOL

7) I don't get too bothered when someone differs in opinion to me. Everyone is allowed their own opinion.

Whew, at this rate, I'll get to 100 a year from this next Christmas.

ISH
