Poll Do Your Teeth Chatter?

Sometimes they do quite a bit with me. I even check sometimes to see how stressed out my body is.

Only a mere supporter but answered this as it happens with me all the time when stressed,it's my alarm call to change scene and decompress a little as the stage after is nausea followed by cyclical vomiting which I can get locked into for a week.... Its purely a stress reaction. I have it well under control now but the worst times it has affected were doing exams,when hubs had emergency appendectomy and every christmas as a child. Didn't get to experiance a proper christmas dinner til I was aged about 10. Turned out I was petrified of the thought of having a strange bloke roaming the house in the dead of night.

Yes, when I start to shake as well. Normally pass it off as being cold if people are around.

I try to tell people I am cold, but....It doesn't work when it is August. :(

Mine only chatter when I'm cold.

My stress sign is shaking.

Yes! But they never did before trauma... also i shake constantly now

Yup that's one of my major signs as well, now.

But the teeth chattering seems to be an early warning sign. Wow I just realized this - thank you forum thread!

Yes! Thank you for bringing this to my attention as a sign of what's going on. It happened today and I had to play it off as being cold.

It's happened for decades and I never realized why. Burden lifted.
