Well I have had it a week now and am amazed at it. No more reading with the light on and disturbing hubby.

The light is amazing, you can adjust it to suit and ambient lighting.

I have just bought my first e-book. It is the first one of a trilogy that a friend wrote.

I was able to read a sample before I decided to buy it.

The samples are fantastic to have!!! They are so long, a lot longer than I had expected! This way, you really get to "dive into" the story and the writer's own language and style. I love this!!!

Got a Kindle Paperwhite today to see what it's like. My dad is okay with swapping my basic one (he gave it to me for X-Mas) for a Paperwhite, if the light is good. Now waiting for -- just looked out the window, it IS already dark, LOL. So, going to check the light now. :)

I've been reading so much over the past few days. I've just finished my third book.

Thank goodness for a seemingly never ending supply of free kindle books. Although I did push the boat out yesterday and paid for 2 books, 1) The Life of Pi and 2) The Hundred Year Old Man who Climbed Out of a Window and Ran Away. They were 0.20 pence each:tup:

Wow!!! I haven't found anything I actually want to read (at all) for a price like that, especially not fairly new books like those two! Congrats! I've got the Hundred Year Old Man though; I'd be interested in knowing how you've liked in when you're done. I haven't started though! :)
