Worsening Depression..... Please Help.

(((LH))) You WILL feel better...it will take time. I have had my psyche decrease a dose...at my request. There have been times I've wanted to see how I would do, as I don't want to take anymore than I need to. Maybe there is something different or better?

You can tell him you appreciate him checking to see if you were on the right dose, but that your symptoms have returned, with a vengeance. Let him know that you just want your symptoms better, whatever that takes, because that is the truth.

When the depression 'rears it's ugly head', remember the good in your life, and try to keep busy. Remember that when we are depressed, we are looking at life through 'depression-colored' glasses and 'read' everything differently. Just saying, try not to believe everything you think.

You are loved and appreciated here, and I think probably in real life as well. THAT'S what is important. Your depression WILL get better. Believe in you, I do!!!

In the meantime, take good care of yourself, even spoil yourself a bit. You deserve the best! We all do!!

Thank you for reminding me of this. It makes a real difference in how I feel. To know I am loved and appreciated and that I will get better, gives me the hope that was previously missing.

I guess it is easy to forget our progress when depression strikes and it becomes difficult to be positive and hopeful. I feel better this morning and will take this opportunity to pamper and spoil myself....(something I hadn't thought to do, till you mentioned it).
