It has been sunny and a bit warmer today, though more wind and rain has been forecast for the rest of the week.

Oh dear, jinxed it. Rain and gale started last night and the rain is still lashing the windows now. Still strong winds as well.

Heavy snow, then ice overnight. All schools closed. Roads are a mess. On anything other than main roads, if your car stops, you will be stuck. Had to go take my mother in law's to take her dog out but back home now since I am not working today. Heavy, heavy snow and I have to shovel the drive in intervals so I don't hurt myself.

@ISupportHer Thanks for the laugh. That groundhog better be watching his back. I've had it too. I woke up to six more inches of ice and snow. On top of the twelve inches already on the ground. When will this winter ever end? I'm glad you made it home safe.

61 degrees and sunny with a cool breeze though it's expected to drop to 35 overnight. Nice while it lasts though.
