Analogy: My Ptsd Feels Like...

I am going through another bad hit, and I still can't think of a better way to describe it than my earlier post- "bone-crushing".
Maybe the pain of a broken bone needs to be removed from that analogy just a bit, it's more like hearing the snap and knowing that it is going to be crippling and just hoping that it isn't going to be permanent but not having any control over the effect it will have on your life and future. The pain is there, but that snap and the knowledge that you can't fix this but it is going to have to be fixed is the worste part by far. The helplessness, the knowledge that this could change EVERYTHING. thats the worst part, thats what I mean by "bone crushing". Thats what it feals like. Yeah, thats the best I can do to explain it. Like living with the sound of that snap still ringing and unresolved and left unfixed.

On a cellular level my molecules are separated from each other leaving weaknesses that are undefendable. Like using cheesecloth as a wet suit in the deep sea.

Yes, PTSD can make you feel like you're going crazy but are you? Are we? Or maybe our minds are purging feelings and emotions like a volcano because we have denied, forgotten or mnimized them?
